Snorkelling Tour Around the Ksamil Islands

Ksamil's water is transparent, but the spots truly worth putting your head under aren't off the seafront: the snorkelling tour takes you by boat to the right sides of the islands, over posidonia meadows and inside small caves where fish, starfish and sea urchins gather.

2-3 hours with a guide who knows the seabeds, mask, fins and snorkel included. From €30 per person, with 3-4 stops at different spots. No experience needed: you just need to be comfortable in the water.

Good to know

• Visibility peaks in the morning on a calm sea: after windy days the water stays murky for a while.
• Sea urchins are all over the rocks: enter the water where the guide says and wear reef shoes.
• Don't expect the coral reef: the Mediterranean is subtler, but posidonia, caves and fish shoals make up for it.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the Ksamil snorkelling tour?

From €30 per person for 2-3 hours with gear and guide included. Exact price on WhatsApp.

What do you see snorkelling in Ksamil?

Posidonia meadows, fish shoals, octopus and starfish on the rocky seabeds, and the inside of small caves. Not tropical variety, but the water is among the clearest on the Riviera.

Do you need to swim well?

Being able to float and move in the water is enough: you stay near the boat and there's a life jacket for extra reassurance. Kids from 6-7 join with no problem.

Is the gear included?

Yes: mask, snorkel and fins in all sizes. If you have your own mask bring it, it's usually more comfortable.
